Information collected
The website does not provide visitor accounts. Information may be processed when you submit the contact form, leave a comment, subscribe to the newsletter, choose privacy preferences, or use the website.
- Comments: when you submit a comment on an article, your name, email address, comment text, and the article URL are sent to Algorithm Man for moderation. Comments are not published automatically.
- Contact: name, email address, subject, message, and basic delivery metadata are sent to hello@algorithmman.com through the site's mail handler.
- Newsletter (Algorithm Man Insights): when you join the list from an article sidebar, your email address is submitted to Brevo (Sendinblue) to manage the subscription. Brevo uses double opt-in, so you must confirm by email before marketing messages are sent. Brevo may also process consent status, confirmation status, and basic subscription metadata.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 may process device, browser, approximate location, referrer, page, interaction, and campaign information when the required consent is available.
- Advertising: Google AdSense may process advertising identifiers, device information, consent signals, page context, and ad interactions according to your choices and applicable law.
- Local preferences: the site may store a short reading-history list in localStorage on your device. It is not transmitted to Algorithm Man.
Consent and Google CMP
Google Privacy & Messaging is used as the consent management platform for applicable regions. Consent Mode v2 defaults advertising and analytics storage to denied until a valid choice is available. Depending on your location and choices, Google may provide personalized, non-personalized, limited, or no advertising and measurement.

Contact and comment messages are processed to respond to your request or moderate discussion. Service providers and transfers
Relevant providers may include Google (Analytics, AdSense, Privacy & Messaging), Brevo (newsletter list management), and the hosting and email provider used for algorithmman.com. Newsletter sign-ups are transmitted securely to Brevo's subscription service. Providers may process data outside your country under their terms and legally recognized transfer safeguards. Retention
Contact and comment messages are retained only as long as needed to answer, moderate, and document the request. Newsletter records remain in Brevo until you unsubscribe or a legal retention requirement applies. Google and other providers apply their own documented retention periods. Local reading history remains in your browser until you clear site storage.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal data, withdraw consent, and complain to a supervisory authority. Contact hello@algorithmman.com to exercise a right. Newsletter emails include an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask to be removed from the list at any time.
